Kenneth Huang

Local Writer & Playwright.

The Story So Far

Born in 1980 in ShangHai China, Kenneth moved to Singapore at a tender age of 3. He began writing when he was 7 in an attempt to improve his English. A child prodigy, Kenneth wrote his first children’s book at age 9 and has sold over 10000 copies. Despite the lack of support from his family, Kenneth has stayed firm on his dreams and graduated from the National University of Singapore’s FASS. He taught at Nanyang Crescent Secondary School for 6 years before quitting to pursue his dreams full-time.

Kenneth has also started his own charity to help at-risk-youth. The “I can write, so can you” organisation aims to help Children from troubled families, by equipping them with writing and life skills.
